Test application on Ferrovie del Gargano, Italy 29/30 September 2026

The first pair of Absolutely Better Joints (ABJ_016 and ABJ_017) on a 3 kVDC line “RFI-like” was installed in PM Vaccarella, in the Lucera-Foggia line of Ferrovie del Gargano, Italy, on the night 29/30 September 2026

The line Lucera-Foggia is characterized by intense environmental conditions with a limited passenger/freight traffic at 145 km/h with 18 t/axle. This page shows some images of the installation (night 29/30 September) and some views of the installed joint.
